Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.
Recently bought a brand new dell inspiron 15 series laptop. I had uninstalled office from my previous lenovo and reinstalled it into this current one. I use to be able to convert pdf files into word documents.
Lync Server 2013 Step By Step Installation and Configuration
They wouldn't get converted perfectly, but I would get this message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling office. I used the uninstall tool, the one for both office and since I had downloaded on here from the factory. Iv'e also ran the repair options and nothing.
Iv'e done this numerous amounts of times and no change. I called the support center and they stated that word cannot convert pdf to word documents without a 3rd party app.
This is not the case because I was doing so last week and I had no third party app installed. I looked through these forums and tried what I read and nothing seems to work. Did this solve your problem?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.

YohandiCrespo Replied on May 1, Independent Advisor. Hello, my name is Yohandi. To give a solution to the incident you are presenting, follow the steps below.
I suggest you check that you have the correct version installed. That is, if you have the bit edition of Windows, you have the bit edition of Office About Office: What version of Office am I using?
After the installation is complete restart the computer. If the process results when you open PDF files from Word the conversion process starts as shown in the image Let me know if it worked.

In reply to YohandiCrespo's post on May 1, Hi, thanks for the reply. I have found my solution. Now my question is, would deleting this folder affect anything else on my computer? I'm assuming not because it was for office and I use office , but I just want to make sure. In reply to bmelecio's post on May 1, This does not affect you at all because the files you deleted are for another version of Offi ce that you are not using or do not have installed.
For me it has been a pleasure to have helped you, if you do not have any more questions you can choose a ranking. Have a great day. This site in other languages x.
